The history of the company dates back to 1911 when the factories of the Belgian company Socié té anonyme belge des Soies artificielles de Sokhatcheff, é tablie a Bruxelles were opened in Sochaczew. On December 19, 1911, the company was officially registered under the name “Belgian Society of Sochachev Artificial Silk Factory”. In July 2007, it was decided to spin off the Boryshevsky branch of activities into a new joint-stock company.
On July 23, 2007, a joint-stock company called Boryszew ERG SA was established in an organization 100% owned by Boryszew SA. On August 31, 2007, the property of the Boryshevsky branch was transferred to the new company in kind.
